Trung Nam Dak Lak 1 Wind Power Joint Stock Company (Trungnam Dak Lak 1 Wind Power) has successfully energized the Di Linh _ Pleiku transmission line –branch line of 500 kV transformer of The Ea Nam wind farm project
The 400 MW Ea Nam wind farm project successfully powered a 500 kV line with 2 transformers each with a capacity of 225 MVA
The 400 MW Ea Nam wind farm has successfully powered a 500 kV line with 2 transformers each with a capacity of 225 MVA manufactured by SIEMENS - the world's leading electrical equipment company from Germany. These devices act as the "heart" of the whole project and will perform the voltage increasing - decreasing, ensuring the electricity consumption needs of the area.
The Ea Nam wind farm has a design capacity of 400 MW, scale of 84 wind towers, combined with a system of 1.2 km of 500 kV transmission lines and a system of electricity grids and public transport at the service of the project and the local population; with a total investment capital of VND 16.5 trillion.
Once completed, Ea Nam Wind Power is expected to add approximately 1,173.6 GWh to the national electricity source per year
The project, when combined with a substation and a 450MVA/500kV line, in addition to connecting to the 500kV Pleiku - Di Linh line, after completion, is not only a key project of Dak Lak province with a total investment capital of VND 16,500 billion but also the largest wind power plant project in Vietnam today. Once completed, Ea Nam Wind Power is expected to add approximately 1,173.6 GWh to the national electricity source per year.
The project will play an important role in reducing air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions; at the same time create jobs for hundreds of workers in Dak Lak, significantly contributing to the province's socio-economic development in the coming time.
Trungnam Group also said that it is estimated that during the implementation of the project, the investor will pay corporate income tax of over VND 3 trillion to local budget revenue and is expected to pay approximately VND 250 billion per year on added value tax.
