On November 7 - 8, 2020, Vietranstimex with Sotrans Holding and Sotrans Logistics organized a charity program to support for flood victims living in Huong Phung and Huc communes of Huong Hoa district, Quang Tri province.

Overcoming the difficulties of terrain caused by landslides, the charity team promptly arrived at the two locations in Huong Phung and Huc communes to give meaningful gifts to victims who have been affected by floods here. Mr. Truong Van Minh Phu - representative of Vietranstimex and Ms. Pham Thi Khue Hao - representative of Sotrans Logistics have presented more than 200 gifts with a total value of 100,000,000 VND to local people. In addition, a printer has been given to the People's Committee of Huong Phung commune and a mount of money 1,500,000 VND has been given to the People's Committee of Huc commune. All the money and gifts have been donated by the members and trade union of Vietranstimex, Sotrans Holding and Sotrans Logistics aiming to share and help flood victims of the Central region to overcome difficulties and to rebuild lives after floods.

This activity is under the CSR Program – Accompany The Central Of Vietnam To Cope With Floods that has been quickly and timely implemented by Vietranstimex to help flood victims in the Central of Vietnam to cope with the historic floods. In addition, Vietranstimex has supported for its staff whose families have been affected by floods in the areas of the Central of Vietnam with the total amount of nearly 32,000,000 VND.

Representatives of People's Committees of Huong Phung and Huc communes have expressed their thanks to the donation towards the Central people of Vietranstimex, Sotrans Holding and Sotrans Logistics. In the coming time, the sharing journey to the Central of Vietnam will continue to be maintained and deployed to donate gifts aiming to help flood victims to overcome difficulties, rebuild a stable and sustainable life.
