On July 14th 2022, SOTRANS Group and the member companies Vietranstimex, SOTRANS Logistics and Sowatco coordinated with the Red Cross Society of District 4 to organize the ONE SOTRANS Blood Donation Day 2022 "Giving blood – Saving lives”. This is one of the practical and humane activities in the series of CSR program of SOTRANS Group in 2022 towards community responsibility.

The voluntary blood donation movement is always encouraged and facilitated by the BOD and enthusiastically responded and supported by SOTRANS Group members. This year, the Blood Donation Day at SOTRANS Group has more than 100 SOTRANS volunteers who registered to donate. Through screening, 81 members were eligible to donate blood, providing Ho Chi Minh Blood Donation Center with 81 blood units. 

The Ho Chi Minh Humanitarian Blood Donation Center, where blood is received, has also strictly complied with regulations on epidemic prevention and control to ensure the safety of blood donors. SOTRANS Group members were also consulted and carefully screened by medical staffs before donating blood.

Thanks to the good preparation, the Blood Donation Day took place scientifically, orderly, excitingly and quickly. This is really a SOTRANS’ meaningful activity, expressing the full solidarity with the community and society. In addition, blood donation activity is also the opportunity for SOTRANS Group's family to raise awareness about the value of blood donation, knowledge about blood and how to care when donating blood...

Besides blood donation activity, year by year, SOTRANS Group also regularly organizes other meaningful volunteer activities such as: Supporting disadvantaged people, giving gifts to charity centers, providing medical examination for poor people in remote areas, sponsoring study promotion funds for poor and studious students... In 2021, SOTRANS Group supported the locality to spray disinfectant; donated COVID-19 vaccine fund and some other social activities…
