On December 06th, 2023, Vietranstimex completed the transportation of the 220KV-250MVA Transformer weighing 125 tons, dimensions of 9.5 x 3.55 x 4.35 (m) from Dong Anh Electrical Equipment Corporation Joint Stock Company (EEMC), Hanoi to 220KV Substation in Hai Chau, Da Nang.
Transportation distance of 1,010km, from Dong Anh Electrical Equipment Corporation Joint Stock Company (EEMC), Hanoi to 220KV Substation in Hai Chau, Da Nang.
Project duration: transported and put into operation platform from November 24, 2023 to December 6, 2023.
Main equipment:
- 01 MAN8x4 tractor with a towing capacity of 250T, 01 convoy of 12-axle hydraulic trailer Cometto with a load of 295T.
- a specialized Cometto expandable platform device with load capacity of 140T paired with a hydraulic trailer was used to lower the height of goods when transporting the transformer body through overpasses on the Hue City bypass and through Mui Trau tunnel on La Son - Tuy Loan highway.
- for attached accessories and engine oil, the semi-trailers were used to transport.
In addition, the field survey of technical infrastructure conditions of the route was also carried out thoroughly before implementation contributes to the absolute safety of goods transportation and on schedule as customer’s required.
